What is the First Tee Mission?

To impact the lives of young people from all backgrounds by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

What sort of programs do you offer?

First Tee – Greater Portland is primary made up of three pillars: On Golf Courses, In Schools, and Community Programs. Our Golf Course offerings consists of classes, camps, tournaments and one-day clinics offered throughout the year.

Where do you offer programming?

We are proud to offer First Tee programming at four site locations, including three in the Portland Metro area and one in Eugene. Their support and commitment to our mission makes it possible for youth in our community to participate in the Portland/Eugene area, including many who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity.

When do you offer programming?

Programs are offered year-round with three primary sessions in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Our winter session, held in January and February, is offered at The Campbell Course – Home of The Children’s Course indoor learning center.

How much does a typical class cost?

Everyone is invited to participate in the First Tee, regardless of income level or financial need.

The full fee for our 6-8 week session is $125. Camps and one-day clinic fees vary and are provided in the program description within the parent registration portal.

We offer financial assistance for anyone in need. Please see our Financial Aid FAQ section to learn more.

What are your age requirements?

We offer age-based classes for youth ages 5 and up. Our 5-6 program offerings vary throughout the year and are only offered at The Campbell Course – Home of The Children’s Course.

How do I enroll?
  1. Select the ‘Register’ button above.
  2. Select the ‘Login’ button in the top left-hand section of the page. You can see the class options without logging in, however you will not be able to register for any classes without first logging in. Login to your account or create a new account.
  3. Once logged in, select the participant you want to register and choose a session to add to your cart. If you need a set of clubs for your participant, add the Youth Golf Set to your cart as well.
  4. Go to your cart and follow the prompts to complete your registration. If you need financial assistance or are registering more than 2 participants, complete the financial aid section during the registration process.
